      這首歌是美國60年代及70年代初期的搖滾團體Love所唱，它是由Bryan MacLean所寫，收錄在《Forever Changes》。當初在1965年他寫這首歌，歌名是〞Alone Again〝，他沒有完成它，直到1967年，才寫完這首歌，這首歌的靈感來自於等待女朋友的記憶，曲調則是來自於普羅高菲夫的基曰上尉組曲(Lieutenant Kije Suite)。這首本質上是矛盾的，曲調很正面，但歌詞卻是很無望的。

      在錄製這首歌時Bryan MacLean跟製作人覺得加入弦樂器及銅管樂器，於是他們請了街頭樂對來錄，他們聽了之後說：「對，就是這種歡樂的感覺。」後來他們團的主要人物Arthur Lee重新錄製這首歌，覺得MacLean的聲音太弱，所以就把歌名改成有神秘色彩的"Alone Again Or"。
